We’re offering more trip options this coming summer through our mission partner, Mocha Club, to locations throughout Africa.
For those that don’t know, Mocha Club is an online community where people are signing up to give $7 a month – the cost of 2 mochas – to help support a project in Africa. You can check them out at www.mochaclub.org. We will continue to plan trips for members of Mocha Club to go to Africa and witness first-hand the impact that their donations are having on the lives of Africans. Teams are being assembled NOW! Once a team reaches our target number of 15-17 team members, that team and location will be closed to new applicants, so don’t wait to turn in your application!
Once teams are formed, the team leader will organize regular bi-weekly phone meetings to assist in the preparation process. Such things as cultural sensitivity, fundraising strategies, and logistical preparation will be discussed during this time.
